Child Vision Care
Look after your children's eyes - have their eyes tested yearly.

Children are more likely to be unaware of visual problems. Their vision is usually "normal" according to them. They have no easy way to compare their vision with what other people see and thus cannot judge when their vision is defective. The blobs on trees have always looked like that and they have no way of knowing that they are actually leaves.

Key Benefits

bulletChildren usually have an eye check at birth. This is done by the pediatrician. This is to make sure the retina is intact and that there are no tumors.
bulletChildren should have their eyes checked at or by age three.
bulletThey should be re-examined at age 6 or half way into year 1 at school, when they can read.
